Strategic Partnership projects in the field of School Education
Erasmus+ provides opportunities for the development of partnerships with schools and organisations across Europe to improve the standard and quality of teaching and learning.
The "Strategic Partnerships" allow partners to work together on issues of shared interest during 1-3 years in order to produce innovative project outputs (such as curricula, handbooks, methodologies, etc.) and/or engage in exchange of good practices and new forms of co-operation with partners from different fields.
In order to receive funding, the projects are expected to address at least one European policy objective either specifically in the field of school education or horizontally, in the broader field of education, training and youth. The relevant policy priorities are specified in the Programme Guide.
The following opportunities exist for schools and other organisations:
Cross-sectoral projects on issues of shared interest and relevance between organisations from different countries, socio-economic sectors and fields of education and training with the possibility of co-operation to improve teaching and learning;
Partnerships between local and regional authorities, schools and other organisations that establish international links and give school issues more weight in local government;
Partnerships for exchange of good practices in areas of shared interest with possibilities of teacher and pupil exchanges.
ABOUT OUR PROJECT
Our Project aims to develop conscience about benefits of the natural resources in everyday life. Main objectives are to make awareness that not only we are obliged to preserve nature for generations to come but also that we can use nature around us for making our lives better in many fields (food, cosmetics, health) and that we can even create products based on nature that can be a sources of income. We aim to make our students understand that the nature is not only clean air and water but every plant, every tree, every flower or herb they see around them and that all of them are worthy and can be used in many different ways. Through the work on the project students will develop creativity in designing boxes for products wrapping and in creating a marketing strategy for some of the products. They will design, create and try to sell their own products which will help them to develop competences needed for their future life. They will research their traditional cultures and exchange materials made as a result of that work which will help them know and value other cultures more.
OBJECTIVES OF OUR PROJECT
Among many challenges the Europe and the world are facing nowadays, ecology and environmental issues are among the most important ones. We believe that during the regular education in their schools, our students don’t realize to the full extent just how important these issues are and how much of an impact to their lives nature brings. We become aware of the importance of climate, balanced Eco-system, all goods that nature gives only when we are left without them.
One of the greatest tasks of school system in any country is to empower their students for independent life of an adult they will grow into and also to make them into good citizens of their countries. Ecological awareness is also inevitable quality that every adult must have and this project aims to invoke and develop that value.

Through monthly activities in each of the partner schools and learning - teaching - training activities where children will work together our students will research Eco-systems in their local surroundings, they will explore nutritious values of the food that is grown in their region, they will use nature’s goods to create products such as cosmetics, beverages, hygiene products; they will make wraps, boxes and other sorts of packages for the products they make, make marketing slogans and strategies, try to sell what they made using verbal communication skill to emphasis advantages of their products. All this will help us meet the main objectives of the project.
Target groups are, first of all, students and teachers in our schools, then our wider school community that includes parents and other partners in local community.
Project should be carried out trans nationally for many reasons, firstly for exchange of good practices – during the work on the project students will exchange their knowledges about nature that surrounds them and which is different in each country and also exchange products based on their natural environment; they will communicate to each other and develop better understanding for other nations and cultures; being the citizens of Europe they will implement European values in their everyday life through interaction with other students from four European countries. Through communication with their colleagues in other countries teachers will improve their teaching and adopt new methods and ways of teaching, they will also have the experience of observing various school systems and therefor they might be able to input some new ideas or solutions for the problems they are facing in their own schools.
Nature - is our everything.We should teach our children how to use, create and take care of all resource that had been given to the human beings.
WHAT RESULTS ARE EXPECTED DURING THE PROJECT AND ON ITS COMPLETION ?
We expect that during and at the end of the project we will:
- increase awareness of the importance of perverting natural resources
- make our students realize that use of the ecologically acceptable materials and ingredients in every day life is not only good for the environment but for themselves too
- improve our students eating habits
- encourage our students to read declarations on the products they are buying, help them recognized potentially unhealthy ingredients in them
- enable our students to work on creating a product – they will define ingredients needed, they will shape product into what they want, they will develop commercials and slogans for each product and in the end – they will try to sell their products
- create cook book that will contain healthy dishes from each country
- create various products based on natural ingredients (soaps, lip balms, bathing balls, toys...)
- create calendar that will be dedicated to their traditional cuisine based on season dishes
- research their traditional culture and its relationship with nature
- develop their school gardens
- develop their manual skills through various activities
- develop their skills in reading, writing and talking in English and their native languages
- develop their IT skills
